Historic Mill Race Trail

Across the river here is where a group wants to develop the Historic Mill Race Trail. This is where I originally wanted to extend the boardwalk along this area. On up the river a short distance to the right of the picture is almost to the the point of confluence, where the two rivers meet at the heart of the downtown area. At the point from where this picture was taken is about 2-3 blocks long to another bridge. After the next bridge is where the Banker's Row historic homes are located. Past the Banker's Row homes, is the confluence where the Wabash and the Eel Rivers collide. These pictures are looking at the Eel River side. The Wabash River side is where the Little Turtle Waterway is located. I will try to get pictures of these things soon--to give you a better idea of what is happening.
